Poor Neil

Neil has been working extra this last month, so we haven't seen him much, which puts me in a slump. Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate his hard work! I just hate when we don't get to see him as much. So, when he wanted to go to the lake last Monday, I couldn't tell him no. When we got there, we had a blast! I asked why he wanted to come and he said that "You are happiest around water." I thought that was the sweetest thing. I may be grumpy, but once we hit the water we are all having a ball. Anyway, on to poor Neil. I asked when we got there if he wanted me to put sunscreen on his back. He said not yet. So, about an hour later, he gets out and finally puts some on himself. When we woke up the next morning, this is what we saw.

Do you think he waited too long? It was so funny, because the top quarter of his back wasn't sunburned just the bottom, where he couldn't reach. I don't know why he didn't ask me to help.
Poor thing! He was hurting so bad. After a few days, it was still very red, but didn't hurt as bad, so we all had fun with it. Ha!

I cringed with this one. Ouch!

He said the smile hurt. And...... we kept doing it.

I think this was the cap to my beloved Advil. ;)

My foot... yea, I know it's big, hush!

Neil's hands.

He is healed now. And I think he learned a valuable lesson. He needs longer arms. ;)
