Pure cuteness!!

 

Neil, Owen, and I walked down the hall, the other night, to put everyone to bed, and when we got to Owen's door, we saw this.  Both girls were hiding in Owen's room, waiting to scare him.  It was hilarious!  We laugh every time we watch it.  I think Emma screaming into the phone is one of the funniest moments.  If you listen, you can hear Lily's sweet little giggle.  And Owen's reaction was priceless!!  Enjoy!!  (:

Cross Country Regionals

We got to see Jeff run in regionals today!  We had so much fun seeing him!  I was so worried we would miss him, because we were running late, but we had perfect timing!  As we walked up to the track, we saw a huge group of runners.  We saw him running by, then we ran to the next spot and watched him pass twice there.  Tracking him down after was the hard thing.  There were so many people there!  It was so good to watch you run today, Jeff!  I am so proud of you and the man you have become! 

We had a very unorganized photo shoot!  Lol!  I had to torture him real quick!  I wanted a pic of all my babies!  I love him like my own!

A little funny, I turned 16 the day after he was born.  I remember thinking, "When Jeff is my age, I'll be old..."  Hahaha!  Well, I guess I'm officially old!  Jeff turned 16 a few weeks ago.  And he'll be getting his driver's license in a week or so.  Sniff, sniff!!  I love that boy like crazy!  I loved hanging out with him any chance I got and he and his sister even lived with Neil and I for a summer.  I have been very blessed to have him in my life!  I have some awesome nieces and nephews!!

We walked around town with some friends trick or treating.  It was so much fun!  Thankfully, Daddy got to walk with us.  We didn't think he would get to.  Owen wasn't as happy to be wearing his costume again, painting his face wasn't nearly as easy.  So Daddy was a lot of help!!  I had to bribe Owen with a sucker just for some pictures.  Lol!

 

The kids were so cute!  Owen led the way.  At least for a second.  He wanted to take his own route, so he had to either be carried or ride in the stroller most of the time.

Our neighbor made the cutest treats.  She painted pumpkin faces on Clementine oranges.  So cute!!  Owen was completely happy eating his right away!!

I am so ready for this candy to be gone now!  We can't seem to stay out of it!  But we had a lot of fun with our 3, sweet trick or treaters!!

She even made sure he got candy.  He was fascinated by the candy in his bucket!  He grabbed a sucker and went to town on it!  He had two before we were done.  It kept him happy in my arms!  Lol!

I can't believe how fast this first year with Owen went!

It seems every year just flies by faster and faster with the girls. I know it will with Owen too! Makes me sad! He is such a sweet, curious, and loving little boy. I am absolutely loving having a son!

Daddy had a bubble blowing lawnmower when he was a kid, so Owen had to have one too! I can't wait for him to "mow" the yard with Daddy!! He loves pushing this around!!

We had so much fun celebrating Owen's first year with our friends and family!! I can't believe how much he has grown. He changes so much everyday.

Welcome to 1935

We were at our church's annual block party last night, when the cloud of dust ran us over. I didn't even realize it was coming, until our preacher's wife came inside and asked if I had a camera in my purse. I said no, but I had my phone. Why? So, I stepped outside and saw what the first picture shows. I went back inside and then realized that Neil and Owen were outside still. So, I ran out there and took Owen so Neil could help the guys bring in the food. About a minute later it hit. I wish you could tell in the video how fast the storm was moving. It was very eerie! Everyone crowded inside and tethered ourselves down and listened to some great music, Best Friends from LCU, ate some great food, sausage wraps, and enjoyed some great company. I just LOVE our church family. I've never felt so at home in a place in my life! Unfortunately, in the middle of the party, Neil got a call saying the computers at the City of Lubbock went down and they couldn't get them back online. So, we headed home so Neil could head to Lubbock. He didn't make it back until 12:30. So, he just left for work this morning. It's always nice to eat breakfast with him!

Well, Emma's birthday went out with a bang. But she did have a great day! I think after her party she will feel like she had a birthday. She loved her new IPOD Touch. Thanks for the help grandparents! And Emma. Poor thing! We made her help pay for it! (: She and Lily played on it all day. And finally around 9:00 last night it needed charging so she reluctantly let me have it. Lol! Love those girls!

Anyway, I just wanted to show the dust bowl of 2011. (: Have a great, dustless day!

10!!

Miss Emma is 10! I keep telling her I'm too young to have a 10 year old, but she's not listening. (: That girl gets more and more beautiful with each passing day! I absolutely love being her Mama! I love watching her grow into the beautiful person God wants her to be. Within the last 2 years I have seen her mature into such a wonderful young lady. She has grown into her role as big sister so well! She adores her sister and brother, and is such a HUGE help with Owen! I love watching her care for both of them. She can be so tender. I love her 4th grade year. She seems to have just blossomed! She has found a fun group of girls to call her best friends. And I am so proud of the choices she has made with them. I love that she is finding out what a friend really is. The first few years of school were tough in the friend department. But thankfully, she has realized what a real friend is. I hope she remembers this in the years to come. It is so weird to be able to have real, adult-like conversations with her. The last 10 years have just FLOWN! I remember wanting her so bad! I just couldn't wait to start a family with Neil. And now, it seems she has always been with us. This birthday has really been hard on me. It's been a big year for all of us! I love watching her grow up, but I just wish it would slow down!!! Love you Baby Girl!
