We attempted a funny picture, but we were pretty much done with it all by this time! And it was freezing!  But this is a typical day with us! Someone hanging upside down, another tickling, ...and through it all, I get to enjoy all of this with my best friend!

What was funny though, was most of the night, they were like this.  All 4 on their iPods. And they were texting each other...I know! Right??

This little girl, we found out, looks gorgeous as a red head! I could not believe how pretty it was!  I think in this picture she is an orange head because we ran out of red.  But it was so pretty! She loved it!

 

Our family grew by 4 this summer!

 We got a BIG surprise this summer! My brother called and say they were moving down here!!!  We were, and still are, thrilled!!  They are our best friends, and we love spending time with them.  We were also thrilled to have them living with us for several weeks!  The kids loved having their cousins here and I loved having someone to spend my days with.  It was kinda sad when they moved out because I missed having adult conversation during the day! (: And I still think it's weird when we run into them at the grocery store!

Owen's favorite part of the day was when Uncle Ikey and Daddy walked through the door!

I loved having help throwing Owen's birthday party!!

First day of school 2012-2013

 5th grade for little Miss Emma!

Her last year of elementary!

She is getting WAY to big.  And she just gets more and more beautiful.

Miss Lily is in the 3rd grade this year.  I think she is loving it!

I can't believe how big she is! I remember watching Emma in one of her plays at school and crying because Lily would start the next year.  Now she is weeks away from her last elementary play.  It breaks my heart that time goes so fast!!

I am so proud of my little beauties!  They are beautiful inside and out.

During the summer, for almost 2 weeks, the girls spend time with my parents.  They love it! And they would spend the whole summer there if I let them! (: But, Mr. Owen doesn't get to go.  For one, I couldn't handle that, not yet! And for another, I would be sick with worry! My parents new house has stairs, which he loves loves loves to play on, and their house sits on top of a hill and their yard rolls down to the river.  I can just see him running full speed down and jumping in.  He is way too fast! Lol! 

So, when we finally met back up with the sisters, there was a lot of celebrating going on.  This little boy loves his big sisters.  And I'm pretty sure they are fond of him too!!

Usually he can't stand Lily being in his face (she's very cuddly, Owen, not so much), but he couldn't get enough of her that day!

 

I love this! I love the adoration on his face and I love it from the girls too!  This is something they do a lot.  I don't know how it got started, but when he saw them, this is what they did.  Love it!!

I think Lily was eating this up.  She wanted a baby sister, and I think it was because she thought a girl would be cuddly and prissy like her.  But she got a rough and tumble brother.  They tend to fight a lot.  Lily wants to love on him, and Owen enjoys beating on her.  Poor girl!  But they definitely love each other very much!!

 

Now these two are best of friends.  I guess it's their age difference (9 years!) that helps them get along better.  Or maybe because they are so much alike?  I don't know, but Emma has became Owen's second mom.  She has told me several times that Owen is the most important person in her life.  And I completely believe it. She loves him something fierce. 

These girls are going to be fantastic moms! 

 

Here's a cute picture from after we had arrive at my parents'. I bet they are playing Angry Birds.  He loves that game! It's so cute, because he calls my mom Papa! All grandmas and grandpas are "Papa." It's too sweet!

 As I was looking through my more recent pictures, I was keeping the ones I wanted to post open.  When I was done, I looked at the bottom of the screen and saw that I had 41 pictures opened. Lol! Well, might not get them all on here. It would take hours to post and hours to read. Ha! (: (Ok, after I wrote that, I uploaded 11 pictures and it only took 1 second to get them uploaded!  It used to take at least a minute before I could get 1 picture uploaded.  I love that we switched to fiber optic internet!!!! So, maybe 41 pictures will be doable...just warning you! (;)

 

My sweet little man turned 2!! this past August! Where has the time gone????  I feel bipolar, because when I think back to his first two years, they have been the best times of my life.  But with some medical problems, they have also been some of the toughest.  Thankfully, within the last year, the medical stuff has settled itself and I've gotten to enjoy the lives that God has entrusted to Neil and I.  

We got Owen his first riding car.  He loves this thing!  He rides it almost daily!!  He loves having a bike like Daddy! He got a Harley Davidson big wheels for Christmas, so he is in heaven! 

 

These blue eyes kill me!  He has gotten himself out of a lot of trouble by just looking up at me.  He  sure enjoyed his cake!

 

We had a tractor party for the little guy.  I loved how his cake turned out.  It was so cute.  I've given up on making the cakes.  I love doing them, but they completely stress me out.  So, Neil pays a little more and we order them a cake.  So much easier!  

 

He loved his balloons!  He actually still has them because I can't bear to toss them.  He played with them for weeks! And they held their air for quite a long time!!

I can not believe this guy is 2! I still can't believe that we even have him.  I catch myself just staring at him and saying to myself "I can't believe I actually have a son!"

And Life Goes on...

I can't believe it's been almost a year since I posted on here.  As I sit here, with Owen asking to watch Spiderman, it makes me sad that I haven't continued this blog. I guess the most updated post was Christmas 2011! I had gotten behind and was trying to play catch up!  But, I give up! Lol! Catching up, the little moments in our life, would take a crazy amount of time! So, maybe here and there will be an old topic, but I'm just gonna write. We'll see what comes out!
