Spring Break

Wow! I can't believe that this week is almost over! I thought spring breaks were suppose to be relaxing. Hmmm...I think we need a vacation from ours. We headed to my parents house to help them out last weekend. Ended up getting more than we bargained for. We went to give Mom a break, and ended up helping her move GG into the nursing home. It was sad and hard, but I know it's the best place for her. She is happy there. Unfortunately, we had to do this during Lily's birthday. But we did have lots of fun with her. We took her to Amarillo to play at Chuck E Cheese with her aunt, uncle, and cousins. We had lots of fun, and she got lots of goodies. I did get pictures, and I will post them, but I'm tired, and I still haven't made her party invitations for her party next Saturday. Yeah, I'm a little behind. So, I will post it all when I get a chance.

Mom, I wanted to email this picture to you, but we haven't fixed our outgoing mail yet, so if you want this, just right click and save to your computer. I thought it was a cute picture, so I wanted you to see it. Hope you like it.

Check back soon for birthday pics!

Happy Birthd... OOPS SHHHH!!

It is so nice to talk about Neil's party! I thought I would go nuts from keeping it from him. I told everyone, the first 5 minutes of the party was gonna be confession. I had to tell so many fibs. I felt so guilty! But Neil had a lot of fun! And he was actually very surprised. I couldn't believe he didn't suspect anything. I mean, I left an invitation out on his dresser and everything. I'm so glad he's not snoopy!

The party went great, and Neil enjoyed the company and food! So, I think it was a success. I tell ya, surprise parties take it out of you. Look at poor Lily.

I really don't think she felt good that day. She ended up with a slight ear infection later that next week. Anyway, she crawled up into Granny Emma's lap and went out. I had to wake her up because I didn't want her to miss Daddy coming in. Emma and Lily were so good at keeping the party a secret, they knew for about a month. They were so excited! They couldn't wait to jump out and yell "SURPRISE!!!" They did it very well.

Here he is walking in. You get to see his surprised look, and Isaac laughing at him. Their expressions were so funny! I was so nervous right before he got there. Sabrina and I stationed ourselves at the front door looking for him.

Here I am lighting the 30 candles, and the 2 extras. Took forever, and we had a nice, warm fire to warm our hands to. Oh, wait, there weren't that many, just looked like it!

But I think he got them all out at the same time! So, he did good.

And, I was even able to find a Superman pinata! I had that and Spider man plates, and a Transformer gift bag. It was so cute. We had fun with the pinata. It was really neat because it was a pull string instead of beat the crud out of it. So, Neil started it off, and he let the kiddos play too. Grandpa held it, wonder if he would have held it if we had to hit it. Doubt it. Anyway, I think Neil was the one to grab the string that opened the bottom. And all the kiddos grabbed the candy and then headed outside to do bubbles.

We had a really great time! I'm so glad we pulled it off, and I'm glad I was able to do it for him. I just wanted him to know how loved he is!

I tried to put the video I made him on here, but I'm too tired to figure out what is wrong. It wants me to contact support. UGH! Not tonight. But I will try to get it on here later.

Thanks to everyone who made it to the party, and the ones who were there in spirit!

Told ya so!

Neil set up the computer last night. Took forever. We didn't go to bed until 2:00. So, we are exhausted. But it is up and running. It looks good, except for the HUGE white monitor. I can't wait until we get the new one. It will be so much better! Anyway, this is the CPU, keyboard, and mouse we got...

Isn't it pretty? Well, compared to our old clunker, it's defiantly an upgrade. And I just uploaded that picture in about 3 seconds. Usually it takes at least a minute. Hope it's the computer, and not just a spike in the internet. Anyway, here it is. I'd take a picture of the actual computer, but I need to clean, and I will wait until we get the new monitor and organize everything better. But, we are officially up and running. That means I have to pay bills now. Darn. I knew they couldn't expect me to do it without a computer. I mean, who knows how to right a check anymore anyways? Sheesh!

Oh, and look at all the card readers on top! So nice! My camera card was too big for the old computer and my laptop, now I just slide it in without the adapter! SO NICE! (Did I say that already?)

HI!

Ok, I know my blog hasn't been real exciting. But as some of you know, we have NO computer. Well, ok, obviously we have a computer, or I wouldn't be on here. But, it's a loner from Neil's office, and I'm not uploading pictures on to this computer. Our laptop is toast, we can not get it back this time. (I think we have said that before, but I'm sure we're right this time.);) And, last Friday, as I was cleaning for NEIL'S SURPRISE PARTY, man, that felt good to say, I was putting some stuff in our computer closet and it blinked off, then on, then off, then on,... I think you get the idea. Anyway, Neil worked on it Saturday, or was it Sunday, and apparently, it's toast too. Man, we have the luck. Of course this computer is old stuff! Ike gave it to us years ago, and he got it even more years ago, so yeah, old. But it was a great computer. The only problem was, it was COMPLETELY full. We even wiped a ton of stuff off a while back, and it was telling me not too long ago that it was getting full again. So, that makes it hard to work on my pictures. Yeah know, since my laptop was toast. (Mmm, I'm hungry for toast now.) Anyway, no computer, no blogging.

But, my sweet, lovable, sexy, older(;)) husband saved the day. He purchased us a COMPUTER this afternoon!!!! WHHHHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited. Of course, we are gonna have to get a monitor for it later, but hopefully what we have will work for now. So, as soon as he gets home tonight, or tomorrow morning (tonight, if I know my hubby) he will get us up and running, and I will be able to post. And, I finally get to post about NEIL'S SURPRISE PARTY!! It's so nice to be able to talk to him about that! I've been going nuts for 2 months! So, look for me tomorrow, well, now that I gave myself a time line, it will be a week, but I will try to post tomorrow. How's that?

And, you know what? Those computers have gotten so small! And I can't wait to get a monitor! They are really neat! I think I might even let Neil put it in the living room, so he doesn't have to complain about sitting in our coat closet! Hee hee! So funny! It's no laptop, but I'm happy about that! For one thing, we had ours for 2 years, and it started having problems pretty quickly, and for another, I am completely addicted to the laptop. ("Hello, my name is Camie, and I'm addicted to my laptop/internet") I can sit for hours just looking around. Not much gets done, and that does not make a happy husband. So, since I can't lug this computer around with me, I won't as likely to be on it ALL the time! Hmm, I wonder if Neil will put rollers on the desk, hmmm.... better not ask! He wants the laundry done!
