Here is Emma reading to her Daddy. In the first grade, they are tested over their library books. She is doing so good! She is a wonderful reader, and reads at a 2nd grade level. She gets better daily. She has signed up to be in UIL. She is doing poetry reading. She reads it so well. We are working on reading with expression and feeling. She is really getting it down. Her teacher said she was doing very well with it. This was taken at the park on Sunday. I finally quit asking them to "smile" and just let them play. Lily was laughing so hard at Emma here. They were having so much fun! Emma has always been able to get Lily to laugh. I remember when she was a baby, she would just smile at me, but if her sister popped up, she would belly laugh. It's really sweet!



This is what Lily was so tickled about. Emma would scoot back and run up the slide, then grab Lily's hand and attempt to climb up the slide with Lily's help. Sabrina, as you can see, Emma has inherited Neil's and my funny candid picture taking. I think it's so cute!
