So, I know I need to play catch up, and I will. Eventually. But things are crazy here trying to prepare for Baby W----, that I just don't have the energy to catch up my blog. As you can see to the side, it says we have 24 days until D day. Well, that's not true...we actually have 17! That's 17 days to organize the top of the nursery closet, organize all the bathroom cabinets, organize 2 of the kitchen cabinets, organize the laundry room, organize Neil's closet, and find room for all the girls' toys. Lol! The nesting bug has landed! Finally! And thankfully, so has some of that long lost energy! Yay! So, between finally shopping for the things we need and organizing, well, we've been a tad busy!

The girls are offically roommates. It is one of the cutest rooms, if I do say so myself! Neil indulged my Mommy guilt and let me go all out for them. It is such a fun room.


All that's missing are the curtains. I still have stuff on the guest bed of Lily's to find a home for and stuff in the living room of Emma's, but we are getting there.

Oh, and I actually have a WALK-IN closet. Not just a lean in closet! Emma and I, and later Neil and I, pretty much threw out half of my clothes, shoes and junk! I even tackled my hall cabinets! I have never been so organized in my life! I am slowly making my way to the rest of the house. Unfortunately, I forget I have to clean while I organize, so that makes it harder. (:


I know that I'm not all that big, but to me, I'm huge! I don't think I ever got this big with the girls, and he or she is all out in the front. I'll have to get Neil to take a better picture to prove it. I have gained zero pounds! Yay! And as of Thursday, I'm actually down 4 pounds. I am very lucky that I don't have to worry about weight gain during my pregnancies. Wish it carried over postpartum! There...I'm not so lucky.

We have finally settled on a boy's name. And I love it! We have a girl's name too, which I love, but we are still playing around with it. It's so hard to have the perfect name! Neil is working his butt off at work to get ready to be off for 2 weeks. He is so ready to have a vacation. Which is funny, because he took off a few weeks ago for a week, but, poor thing, spent the whole time redoing the girls' room. I think he's ready to have a break and play! I don't know how much play time he'll have coming up, but at least we'll have a lot of excitement around us!

The girls are doing great! They are so ready to meet their baby brother or sister. They are constantly loving on my stomach and talking to the baby. They are really having to readjust to all the changes already. They love their room, but it is so different, that they are having trouble getting comfortable in there. They almost always sleep together. Which is amazing to me. They slept together all the time before, but in a full size bed. And Emma was always pushing Lily out of it. Now they cram onto a twin bed and sleep great. As far as I know, no one has fallen out yet. (: They are having fun shopping for the baby. We test drove several strollers, and of course they had to see what they liked too. They drove our new stroller around all the first day until Daddy got it put up. They can't wait to push the baby around in it. They are already asking if they can.

Me, well, I am so ready to meet this little one. I am going to miss being pregnant, miss my belly, and miss the sweet kicks, but I am so anticipating holding this sweet baby. This will probably be our last baby, so that's hard to process though. But I am ready to hold this little one and know all is well!! We took a quick trip to Labor and Delivery last Sunday. I started having some contractions and just felt bad. We were there maybe an hour getting monitored. Sure enough, I was having small contractions, but it was mainly irritable uterus. Neil got a kick out of that! Nice! I've been doing great since, but I get really tired and irritable really quick. Doesn't make me the best mom when I'm that way. But the girls are troopers and they know I love them. Just makes me more ready to have the baby!

Anyway, just a quick, or so I thought!, update to let you know we are still here! Maybe I'll get another chance to post before baby arrives, but if not, please say a pray for us on August 10th that all goes well!
